More is not always better. The minimum effective dose produces the result without unnecessary effort. Beyond that point, additional input yields diminishing or negative returns.
This applies to exercise, to learning, to work. The optimal amount is often less than we think. The body needs recovery. The mind needs rest. The project needs completion, not endless refinement.
Find your minimum effective dose. What is the smallest effort that produces meaningful results? That is your baseline. Anything more should be justified by proportionally better outcomes.
Where are you doing more than necessary?
