Election day in many places. A day of civic participation. Exercise your voice if you have not already done so.

After the voting, return to ordinary life. The world’s noise will continue, but you do not have to carry it all. Do what you can, then let go. Your vote is cast. The outcome is no longer in your hands.

Return to November’s quiet. The civic duty done, the personal practice continues. Gratitude, slowing down, preparation for winter. These remain regardless of external events.

What will you do after exercising your civic voice?
