Every possession demands something. Storage space. Maintenance. Mental tracking. Decision about keeping or discarding. The more you own, the more owns you.
This is not argument for extreme minimalism. Some possessions genuinely improve life. But many do not. They accumulate by default, never examined, taking up space and attention without returning value.
Audit periodically. Does this still serve you? Does it earn its place in your life? The honest assessment often reveals that less would be more. More space, more clarity, more freedom from the weight of stuff.
What possession could you release that no longer serves you?
