Most journals focus on answers. What happened? What did you learn? What will you do? Try keeping a question journal instead. Write down questions that come to mind. Questions about your work, your life, your relationships, the world.
Questions are more powerful than answers because they guide your thinking. A good question can lead you to insights that answers cannot provide. Questions keep you curious. They prevent you from settling into fixed ways of thinking.
Review your questions periodically. Some will answer themselves over time. Others will lead to new questions. Some will remain open, and that is okay. The value is in the asking, not necessarily in the answering.
Start your question journal today. Write down three questions that are on your mind. Add to it as questions arise. Then notice how this practice changes your thinking and keeps you curious.
